Balance bike

Leila is going through a phase of wanting to take her bike to school at the moment instead of use the buggy board.  Sometimes she gives up half-way there which is annoying - I don't mind her going on the buggy board, but it's a pain to try and carry (or balance) her bike too!  T

his week we have had rain for the first time in ages and Leila didn't take me up on the offer of a car-ride to school but decided she wanted to walk on Monday (full wet-weather gear on as it was lashing it down....I think the real reason she wanted to walk was so that she could _finally_ use her new wellies and Star Wars umbrella!), but on Tuesday she opted for the bike again through the puddles.  The puddles turned into a great way to get her to get her feet off the ground and actually balance - hopefully by spring she will be ready for a new big girl bike!

Major catching up

This half-term I have kept meaning to blog, but things have got in the way - recovering from colds, getting colds (the cycle continues), launching Bucharest with Kids, preparing for Christmas visitors, having Christmas visitors...the excuse list continues.  I'm going to try and catch up now with a few posts and pics and videos.
