We had a fun day out today at Tinertului Park in the south of the city. We had had a tip-off that the funfair rides in the park were better than the ones in Herestrau and half the price - and this was true! It was obviously a longer journey (we drove to Promenada and then took the Metro), but this was also a fun expedition. We arrived in the 'top' half of the park and wandered through, over the lake, to get to the funfair area. The rides were 5Lei each and there were many that the kids could go on. And best of all? Twirly potatoes for lunch!!!
