We finally made it to the weekend with the walls in Edwards roo looking great and Scotty having done his two parents evenings too...onky f8r Leila to be struck down by a nasty cold :-(
She had a bit of a cough during the week but come Friday it was sounding nasty and chesty and more frequent. We mived Edward quickly back into his room 8n Friday evening so that I could sleep wuth him while Scott looked after Leila. Scott "slept" in 20-minute bursts due to her hacking cough and groaning. Poor thing. She spent part of the night in bed with him but then her snoring and fidgeting didn't help Scott sleep any better and she too wanted to go back t8 her bed.
Saturday was spent mainly having calpol and cuddles and Saturday night was more 9f the same but with a fever to boot!
She was a bit less poorly on Sunday but def still unwell - crying at small things and just asking for cuddles.
We have discovered an alternative medicine for her - The Snowman and the Snowdog. We put it on on Saturday as a treat and she loved it. We watched it twice on Sunday too!
Sunday also saw poor Edward starting to get a cough and he was the first to wake on Sunday night so I went in with him again.
We already had a doc appointment booked for Monday but there was no way Edward was going to have vaccination today! The doc did check the two of them out though and confirmed a cold rather than anythinh worse. I guess we shouod count ourselves lucky thst L never had anything th7s bad before.
Oh and while all this is going 9n Scott is in school both days for a debate competition! Caffine is our friend at the moment.
