Edward is getting on really well now that he is approaching 11 months.
He is an excellent crawler and clamberer, but is more and more wanting to try out walking. There is a walker buggy here at janes, but E prefers to hold hands (as L did). He does drag his feet and lean forward when he walks, but is getting better. He can stand without support which is impressive and he's better at this when he's holding something or suitably distracted!
He is getting better at communicating. Hands up is ckearly pick me up request, and he waves goodbye and hello and uses his arm to point at things. He can also do a good 'da da da' which sometimes corresponds to Dad. Sometimes I think he can do a 'ma ma ma' too but it's not as clear.
After getting rid of his cold and nasty cough from the start of the hols he has a cough and runny nose again. He has turned too into areal dribble monster recently. Yesterday he got through two bibs before breakfast!
He is getting good and more confident on steps. After his tumble in Buxton (step #4 of steep steps whilst I was picking some laundry up leading to an AnE trip) he hasn't lost enthusiasm but did spend a good ten mins mastering the step into garden at janes which was cute.
E remains fascinated with doors, drawers and wheels. Finger trapping has been surprisingly minimal!
